Ingredients:
4 large potatoes (russet potatoes or Yukon gold potatoes), scrubbed and rinsed
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Cut the potatoes into thin strips or wedges, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. You can peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skins on adds extra texture.
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the seasoned potato strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded. This helps them crisp up nicely.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once done, remove the fries from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter or bowl.
Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if needed, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley for extra flavour and colour.
Serve immediately as a tasty side dish or snack. Enjoy your delicious Crispy Garlic Fries!
